Better Feet & Body Podiatry Team
Better Feet and Body Podiatry was founded in 2007 by Daniel Carroll and Naomi Rowlings, Melbourne trained podiatrists who graduated from La Trobe University in 1999.
Daniel and Naomi are registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and have extensive expertise gained from working both in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Their career paths have been varied and have provided the opportunity to work in diverse settings, such as private practices, community health facilities and acute hospital departments in both Melbourne and London.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, Daniel and Naomi would be delighted to help get you back on your feet.
We also have a team of highly skilled and experienced Podiatry Associates who bring a diverse range of expertise and skills to the practice.

Sikhie prioritises working with his clients to solve their issues whether complex or simple. He especially enjoys managing sports related injuries, high risk wounds with a holistic approach and educating patients on better preventative measures to reduce future foot complications. When not at Better Feet and Body, Sikhie works in an acute tertiary hospital working with clients with high-risk foot conditions. Additionally, Sikhie is currently completing his training to achieve his endorsement to prescribe scheduled medicines.
Outside of work you will find Sikhie planning his next travel adventure or playing cricket and basketball.

Jamie Allan
Clinically, Jamie enjoys all aspects of Podiatry with a special interest in lower limb biomechanics, ingrown toe-nail management, sporting injuries, and footwear design, fit, and function – he believes you should be able to maintain certain style preferences while maintaining optimal foot health. Additionally, he has extensive knowledge in managing heel and 1st toe joint pain in individuals from athletic and non-athletic backgrounds.
He is currently undergoing a PhD through a joint scholarship with La Trobe (Australia) and Sheffield Hallam University (United Kingdom). His research aims to categorise specific foot types/shapes by capturing complex 3D models then applying sophisticated statistical analysis techniques. This will assist in developing a greater understanding of foot shape and assist in footwear design to accommodate the various foot shapes that exist around the world. While at La Trobe University, he also teaches 3rd year students clinical biomechanics of the lower limb.
Jamie has a background in Australian Rules football and now enjoys ultra-distance running in the off season.

Narelle Archibald

Narelle enjoys playing social tennis at her local Club and walking to improve her mental and physical well-being, and also catching up with friends and family.

Margaret Gough
“Sometimes for our clients, coming into the clinic is a social visit as well as a podiatry treatment. Some just need a friendly smile or compliment to make their day.”
As a people-focused health and fitness enthusiast, Marg loves to combine her passions for wellness and people to create a calm and welcoming environment in the Better Feet and Body Podiatry clinic.
Marg is not one to shy away from a challenge and has achieved so much in her time, including teaching her children to enjoy sport and stay active! She’s also walked, trekked, ran, and ridden hundreds of kilometres to help raise money for many important charities.
We love having this go-getter on our team!
